The One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Foundation’s “Give One, Get One” campaign was a big success last year. Basically, you pay twice the normal price for an XO-1 computer, but half of that is tax-deductible, as not only do you get an XO-1, but one is sent to underprivileged child in a developing country.

This year, the OLPC Foundation has decided to offload the handling of the promotion. Amazon.com will begin selling XO laptops under the G1G1 program in late November, around Thanksgiving. Since last year the Foundation had production delays and shipping issues, this will hopefully make things run smoother.

The program will only be for U.S. residents, however.
